TCA Peel (Butt Cheeks)

TCA (trichloroacetic acid) causes a controlled chemical exfoliation of the skin. How deeply it works depends on the strength used, how it is applied, your skin and your clinician's protocol.

1. Your skin is assessed.
2. The area is prepared with steaming, extraction and microdermabrasion as needed.
3. The peel is applied in a controlled way.
4. The peel is neutralised where required and aftercare is applied.

Peeling, dryness, redness and temporary sensitivity are possible. Changes in pigmentation are a particular consideration for darker skin tones, which is why your skin is assessed first.

Your aesthetician recommends the number of sessions after analysing your skin and seeing how it responds.

• Do not pick or peel flaking skin.
• Moisturise regularly.
• Avoid friction from tight clothing where possible.
• Avoid acids or retinoids unless your clinician approves them.

Before treatment your skin is checked for any active dermatitis or infection and any history of unusual pigmentation.
