This policy explains what personal information Maufire collects when you use this website or visit our clinic, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Information we collect
- Bookings: your name, email address, phone number, the services, date and time you choose, and any notes you add for the care team.
- Orders: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the products you buy and your delivery choice.
- Accounts: if you create an account, your name, email address, phone number, saved address and a password. Your password is stored in a scrambled form that we cannot read.
- Messages: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and what you write when you contact us.
- Reviews: the name, rating and comments you submit. Approved reviews are shown publicly with the name you gave.
- Information you share in the clinic: details about your skin, health and treatment history that you tell our team so they can care for you safely.
- Technical information: your IP address, used for a short time to limit repeated sign-in attempts, messages and reviews and to protect the website from abuse.
Payments
Online payments are handled by GlobalPay. You enter your card or bank details on GlobalPay's secure page, and we never see or store them. We receive only confirmation of whether the payment succeeded, the amount and a payment reference.
How we use your information
- To arrange, confirm and carry out your appointments.
- To process, deliver and support your orders.
- To send you emails about your booking, order or account, such as confirmations, changes and password resets.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To keep records of the care and products you have received from us.
- To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We use your information because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, because the law requires it, or because we have a legitimate interest in running the clinic safely. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails from this website.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the companies that help us run the website and clinic:
- GlobalPay, to take online payments.
- Delivery partners, who receive your name, phone number and address so they can deliver your order.
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the website's data on our behalf.
Some of these companies store information outside Nigeria. We may also share information when the law requires us to.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that remembers your shopping bag and keeps your forms secure, and one that keeps you signed in to your account. They are removed when your session ends or you sign out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Content from other companies
Our contact page includes a Google map, and our pages load fonts and layout files from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. When your browser loads these, those companies receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. Links to WhatsApp and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, order and treatment records for as long as you are a client and afterwards for as long as the law requires for tax, accounting and health record purposes. Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
- correct information that is wrong or out of date,
- delete information we no longer need to keep,
- stop or limit how we use your information, or
- remove a review you submitted.
If you have an account, you can update your details yourself after signing in. For anything else, contact us using the details below and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is intended for adults. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to book or buy on their behalf.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
